I'm sure I've read it somewhere here but I've tried searching and can't find it. Basically , should the front cigarette lighter and ignition switch be illuminated at night? As an after thought, should the rear one be as well. (Ciggy lighter, not ignition switch!!) Mines a 2005 m/y. Ta, Terry.

Some had a recall from lr to fix the problems with them. I know yours is well out of the said date but are all l322 02-06 have the same cigarette lighter holder not light up?

Mine does not light up either, even though the wires are there but the bulb holder is missing, easy fix if wanted to repair. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

There are no bulb holders incorporated into the front or rear cigar lighter sockets, certainly not on our 2004 TD6. Just a +ve and -ve feed to them both, no bulb illumination wires. Same goes for the ignition switch.
