Just as the Diesel model, basically it just burns the petrol under a little water tank/heat exchanger which heats the water. The electric coolant pump then pumps this round the heater matrix and the engine block. The interior fan is run on slow speed, enough to warm the interior nicely and defrost all the windows. This will be great as I want to get it converted to LPG and it switches over when the engine gets to 35C or there abouts so half my journey in the mornings is done on petrol, with the pre-heated engine it will switch strait over. Oh, I forgot to mention the Windows are Supaglass coated which was another Autobiography option. Basically a film over the glass which means even if you break the window it holds the glass together so still cannot gain entry. Or in an accident/roll over the car doesn't fill with shards of glass.
I'll grab some this eve!
Really? They are just the standard roof rails? Now I just need some roof bars to go on them? Dolphinboy where are you!?
I think I got it for a bargain, and am VERY pleased with it! |
