United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Monte Carlo Blue
air suspension inactive

Hi all,
Have recently purchased a range rover vogue '03 plate and it is rather temperamental in the abovementioned subject! All works fine in the sense that no hissing noise nor suspension staying down! Every now n again the air suspension inactive warning raises it's existence for a few days then retreats?! It had a new pump fitted prior to purchase! An independent garage chucked it on the diagnostic machine and it read that it was front driver's side sensor?! Any ideas / suggestions please would be gratefully received!
Cheers!

Do you get any other code? What suggest it is the FR height sensor?

Probably worth taking it off and checking it over, especially the arm and conrod bushes.

That said it might be on its way out! Thumbs Up .

Unless it's the wiring to the sensor? My garage said to us that if the new sensor doesn't clear it then that's the next port of call! Mine has had a new suspension pump fitted November last! And we r experiencing these issues at present!!

Are all the faults being cleared? They not only get stored in the EAS ECU but also in the LCM (light control module).

You could also try a battery disconnect for 30 minutes, touching terminals (not on battery the cables!) whilst disconnected too. .
