According to their web site, the next pay and play day at Tong is the 15th March. Is anyone planning on going? |

Prob not, but its great fun.....keep off the black runs and make sure you have all your documents as you wont get in without them. Book in advance on line for a small discount. My profile picture was taken there.

I have been and loved it! I went in a modified D3 and I can say that the "Defender" tracks are a wee bit narrow for a Full Fat/D3/D4 but they do fit. The lake is great to wade through. |

I do fancy a bit of green laning, but not sure I want to subject the paintwork to the same sort of abuse Haylands put his through. |

We do some gentle ones too, or you're welcome to ride shotgun in my Disco next time if you're free as I see you're in WYks.

Thanks for that Paul, I may do. I'm not against laning in the Rover I just don't fancy the hardcore stuff that may cause damage and take it off the road. Something nice and gentle across the moors would be a great day out. |

Yep, first drove Strata back in the late eighties and it was superb, and unspoilt, now looks like a pay and play site in places..... Pete
