A few questions if you don't mind?

Do you know whether they'd fit 275 tyres? If so would you consider splitting the tyres from the wheels? Basically I've been thinking about a set of 20" to fit some BFG AT's now they seem to be available in a size suitable for an FF. If you don't want to split them then provided 275's fit then I can almost certainly sell the tyres as I'm not that interested in a set of road-biased tyres.

Also are there only 4 or do you have a spare as well? I'm probably off to Morocco later in the year so would need at least one spare, ideally 2!

No problem - I'd be interested in them if I can confirm that they'll fit a 275 tyre on. Bearing in mind this will be an All-Terrain tyre and going off-road it needs to fit well as if it's a little narrow they stand a chance of popping off.

Are there any markings on the rims at all? I'd guess that there might be something like 20x10 or something which is diameter by width.

Does anyone else know off-hand whether these particular wheels will fit a 275 wide tyre? (20mm is a reasonable difference from the ones fitted).

the wheels that jpr is selling are 8.5j in width so a 275 45 20 tyre size will fit that rim... ... - .- -.

Thanks stan but if they are truly 8.5 then according to this site then the maximum width is 255. Forgive my ignorance but does the J mean anything? Ed

a particular tyre size will fit a range of rim sizes , the optimum rim size for the 275 45 20 is 9.5j but this tyre will fit a 8.5j rim..

the 'j' stands for the type of rim contour... ... - .- -.

Hmm, given the intended use (off-road with BFG Goodrich - assuming I can source some) then I might give Andy a call and see what his opinion is. I'd rather not push the limits of the rim since I'm thinking about taking the FF to Morocco at some point this year. Don't particularly want them popping off whilst in the middle of the Atlas mountains... Ed
