Craig, what did you do to the Nextbase stanchion mounts to mean that they don't have the black bar attaching them to the seats? I have pretty much the same setup in mine (works well) but haven't "installed" the cabling etc, it just plugs in when needed? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Took them apart/dis-assembled them to leave the metal mount bar in the middle. Simply mounted that to the headrest and ran the wires through a hole cut in the headrest pillar/tube, re-trymed the leather headrest (to accommodate the mount) connected the wiring to the rear ashtray and 'voila!" Far more factory looking imho |

Very clever. I have a spare set of mounts which came with the Pad holders, (the ones in the car are off the dvd system) so will get the hammers out! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I wonder what those "Range Rover" letters would look like on a black car?

I painted the original Borola Black (like the rest of the black) then fabricated a stainless strip to fit and refitted the black plastic strip a mm or two lower to accommodate the stainless strip. All done as a bit of an experiment to compliment the new badges... I think it works well as a subtle upgrade |

Nice work Craig, Did you have to 'curve' the letters to fit the front bonnet aswell? 2008 Range Rover TDV8 435,000kms 2015 Range Rover L405 SDV8 Autobiography 2008 Ford Focus1.6 tdci Titanium DPF deleted |
