Mentioned before on here I know but wanted to share my refurb results for the 2010 smart key. The casing cost £6 from a main dealer did both. Really easy to do, the only semi difficult part was removing the sliding clip with the spring on it (used a tiny plastic pry bar). I'm really anal with the state of my keys so very happy with this.

Nice - Mine look a bit worse for wear as the sides keep coming apart from the body.

Take out the battery compartment then prise apart. You see how it goes together when you get the new one. As I say, just the clip with the spring on it need some time. The internal electronic part just drops out and drops in. Did the second one in less than five mins. My Previous RR's!

I think they may have improved the design (or at least the adhesive!) with the new one. Feels a bit more substantial. My Previous RR's!
