Hi Guys when i parked the ff today i noticed some white smoke coming from the engine bay area, had a look at the oil and there is plenty in it albeit a little black. i started the car again no smoke while running but when i turn it off there is a little smoke coming from the left hand side of the engine as you look at it. any comments or suggestion would be great.

The fbh exhaust comes out under the front passenger side of the car, near where the passengers feet would be. Keep an eye out there, as white smoke is what it makes when it fires up after being unused for some time. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks for the suggestions guys, i have to go out in a while so will take it for a small run and check again when return, is there anyway to disable the FBH from running?

Fuse 59,20A removed from front fuseboard should disable it and affect nothing else.

I would not suggest to disable the FBH. Whereas many people have problems running it as Park Heating (see my other post....), the Auxiliary Heating is there for a reason.

My car cooling fluid temperature does take very long to reach optimal operating temperature of 90 degrees when the FBH is not kicking in below 8 degrees outside temperature. And as we all know, driving a cold diesel engine is no good....

Whereas some people state otherwise, it is not normal to have the white smoke. Simply clean out the FBH by cleaning the inside of the burner housing. That should resolve it.
