Well, a man of your advancing years needs a comfortable place to sit when driving. Twisted Evil Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

I just don't want to drive around with the exhaust noise blaring out.

Managed to find a set of the correct wheels for winter tyres, with an almost brand new set of winter tyres fitted. Mounted on the front here.

Don't think they look as nice as the AMG wheels but the AMG wheels vibrated and were very noisy. These are lovely in comparison - so smooth and quiet. I'll replace the summer tyres before they go back on, and will also have the tracking done.

Only downside is the winter tyres are 'Star Performer' - utterly crap tyres, especially in the wet. :blub:

I like the interior apart from the steering wheel. Aesthetically, I don't mind it - I like nice wood in an interior and really don't like carbon. But you use this wheel for 2 minutes and you really wonder how anyone can think it's a good idea. It's horrible to use.

Interesting. I've always liked the look of those steering wheels, but never used one.

Great looking car, BTW. Thumbs Up

Lovin' my CL. So smooth and quiet.

Needs new front discs and pads before it goes for its Swiss MOT though.

Is the dust on the VX for making notes on bumper re-fitting? Whistle

One of the reasons I bought the CL was the VX needs a suspension refurb and a new steering rack. I haven't driven it since the late summer, so it's sat there gathering dust. It's a bit of a shame, but I've not had time to sort it and it's winter anyway. It's also the type of car that you can leave for a while and come back to.

Going by your posts I reckon you have more than enough "projects" on the go to stop you worrying about a bit of dust Thumbs Up

It's on a winch, so quite safe. It's difficult to get it to lie flat though so it looks a bit precarious.
