Saw the ad on telly and it looked pretty good so I thought I would give it a go, bought 500 credits for £49 and switched on autobid on a Canon 5D Mark III which retails for about £2800 only to wake up this morning to find all my credits have gone .....Anyway lesson learned I suppose but it does raise the question is this a scam or do people really get bargains? Are there actually bidding tactics that I'm missing ? Or does Madbid thrive on mugs like me attracted to the thrill of getting something for nothing with the Fools and their money strategy? Thinking about it if they have 100 people (mugs?) all bidding on that camera and they all spend like me £49 that's nearly £5000 for a camera that they probably paid £1500 for as a bulk purchase then that is a very clever and lucrative business idea they have created....think in future I'll stick with flea bay  The forums premier drug dealer and human trafficking consultant

But, they do then discount all of their items to the tune of what credits you spend... So, After spending the same £49 as yourself i bought the kids their Play Station thing they wanted £100 cheaper than i could find it anywhere else... So i guess i won "ish" in the end

I don't like the idea of autobid. If everyone used it then who wins?
My son has won a few things, headphones etc, nothing too big, but that was before autobid.
Same thing on eBay, it spoils auctions.
