Programming L322 key

Hi all.
I've done a search but can't find a solution to my problem. Mines a 2008 Vogue SE bought from an independent dealer last June. They'd bought a new key which is the one I've been using. However, I went to use old key last night and it wouldn't work. I researched his to reprogramme by turning ignition on / off & holding unlock key down on fob whilst pressing lock key 3 times etc and it worked! But 1st key now doesn't work. More research and I found if you reprogramme a 2nd key within 30 secs of 1st they should both work. They don't! So I either have one or the other functioning! Any guidance appreciated.

hi you have two problems here, the first is the sync of the keys that will open and close the doors the other is the transponder in the key.
if the key does not start the car then the other problem does not matter,
has the key ever started the car
does it make a click when you put it next to the ignition V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Daveo
Both keys will start the car but only one or the other will open the central locking! I can get either key to do both functions but not both keys at the same time. The last one I try programming will do both but the other one will then only start the car if that makes sense.

Thanks to Daveo for taking the time to contact me privately although we never actually managed to speak.
Spoke to our local dealer this morning and the problem was that after I initialsied the first key I was putting the 2nd key in the ignition. Once I was told that the 2nd key didn't need to go in the ignition it worked 1st time. Well 3rd time! All now sorted.
