Warrantywise are OK provided you follow their claim terms to the letter. Make sure you have the right cover - Gold is best I believe, with an hourly rate sufficient to cover your preferred repairer. As a last resort with a disputed claim you can e-mail Quentin Wilson direct for a ruling - this worked for me on a very modest £100 claim for rear caliper replacement. Didn't renew this year as premium was more than double first year cost so putting equivalent aside in my piggy bank. |

A friend of mine in the warranty business (who won't touch any LR product over 7 years of age for all the obvious reasons!) says that Warranty Direct are the guys to use. There is a 3 month limit before you can claim but everything is very clearly laid out upfront. No ifs, no buts, no it's down to wear and tear......I'm certainly looking at it myself.

But remember chaps, warranty companies always want to see proof of service by a VAT registered garage, not just a stamp in the service book. So you could have the best maintained vehicle in the world but if you service the car yourself or get someone to do it for you for beer tokens then warranty is not going to work for you..... 2006 4.2 SC
