MECHANIC TEST DRIVE  ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

If Ford has any ethics, they should loose their franchise immediately.

Problem is they are a big multi-site franchise in more than one town and have been Ford main agents for donkeys!! It should be easy for them to identify the mechanic and make an example of him

Mind you, we use them (in another town) for the works fleet and they are genuinely useless!!!! They had one or two good mechanics but these retired / moved on and now they're left with technicians that are still in nappies!!!

I reckon they have an annual competition to find the worst service manager

I'm sure it happens all the time.
Years ago I came across a car upside down, smashed to pieces and the driver lying at the side of the road. I waited until the services got there. He told me he had been taking a customers car for a test drive.....  Previously..

That is outrageous!!! SACK HIM!!!

Just up the road from the Ford dealer we use (as mentioned above) there is a garage where the son (an employee) decided to "road test" a customers Lambo. During this "road test" he got it into a powered fish-tail and took out a passing motorist. From memory the Lambo was written off

I believe this was the last straw for the garage owner (father) who decided to shut shop so the son had to find a new job - perhaps he's found another position

I had a lot of 'goodwill' work done on a previous vehicle after staff helped themselves to items in my vehicle. Land Rover Addict
