It could have something to do with the power steering pump drawing too much power in full lock.

Could it be something as simple as a worn belt? You remind me of a young me, not much younger mind, perhaps even a little older! |

It could be a slipping belt, but i would have thought a squeel would allert you to that, it doesn,t do it all the time but when it does happen it is not a nice feeling, it feelslike the engine has hickups, thats the best i can explain it. I have ordered a set of sparkplugs, ii will change them and see if that helps, by the way i can,t even see the belts without pulling bits off.

Well i changed the plugs today, bit of a concern, 3,4and 5 had a lot of oil in the plughole and when i removed the plugs they werelso oily, could have been from when i removed them though, on the other side 5, 6, 7 and 8 were fine, the plugs whitish which showed thhey were firing, but those oily ones, its hard to tell, i couldn,t see where the oil would come from, any ideas? |

On most cars oil there is caused by leakage of the cam covers. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Can't think they would have been oily in the car, it will be the leaking cam cover gaskets causing it, if the engine light came on then it will have stored a code, get it read and go from there....
