2007 tdv8 2010 front conversion

Hello to all.

First post here but have been reading for many years.

I am mid conversion of my 2007 tdv8.

I have spent hours trawling through posts trying to find the answer but failed.

I have used after market replacement plugs and brand new headlight units without AFS.

Have followed the wiring diagrams posted on here but have the following problem.

Side lights - nothing

Indicators - nothing

When I bench test with 12v the units work

When I measure across the terminals on the headlights I only get 9v

If I reconnect the original units they work fine (the pins are almost identical apart from 16 which the old unit doesn't have )

Any advice would be appreciated!!

For any others considering this - I was surprised how simple the body work side was. The bumper armature was a straight swap, the wing brackets can be changed with out cutting and without removing the wings.

New washer hose is required as right angle connections are needed

Over all (wiring issues aside) it has only taken a day

Thanks in advance

Thanks Stan

These are the ones I have used as the car didn't have pin 16 and the newer units need pin 16.

Have dropped camtec a note. I am not far from him, time to bite the bullet
