If you think an lpg tank is a weak spot then you are misinformed, it's actually the strongest part of any car as it's made of very thick gauge steel, and has a melt-off valve to allow slow escape if in a fire, however, petrol tanks on cars are made from same guage steel, or plastic, and can easily split. If you search YouTube for lpg test etc you will see how strong they really are. They should make the petrol tanks from this too. Still, that guy was 'lucky' after being rammed by a drunk!
