There has been no clunk sound or knocking since I personally changed the front drop links a few months ago with Duckworths supplied LR parts. |

I had a similar recent experience whereby the main dealer, during the health check that accompanied the annual service, noted that I had a "weeping" rear shock absorber. Which could be fixed for a mere £680.

Same thing here - MD diagnosed failed bushes on the rear suspension and quoted £700+ to repair. MOT came round 2 weeks later, front offside balljoint needed replacing (confirmed by knocking starting about 4 days before MOT!). MD didn't pick that up which I found odd. Asked MOT station about rear suspension - all good and no problems!!!

it would be interesting that when they diagnose these problems ,you ask to actually see how they test this faulty part on the vehicle.. ... - .- -.

@ Kajagoog, TheMD *was* the second opinion. I liked the opinion I got 1 day beforehand from the independent MOT tester as the car sailed through his MOT with not one advisory.
