Since I've sold my old car I no longer have a need for my IID tool. An Invaluable piece of kit in my opinion.

If anyone wants to swap it for the 2010 model then happy to talk or £120 for a straight sale.

I have an outstanding question as to whether I can repurpose my IID to use with my new model year at this stage so don't want to build your hopes up. I wasn't aware it could be used but waiting a response from GAP.

Hi Ash,

I had a 2006 S/C with the IID (BT version). Helpful guys at Gap were able to update the firmware when I got my 2010 (MY) S/C.

Hopefully they can do the same for you  SDV8 AB MY 2019

Ash, is yours a BT version? As it has to be the BT version in a 2009> MY sir

As ever Craig - you are spot on mate

Mine is the original so I think it is non BT - I had this suspicion that it wouldn't work and was just waiting confirmation from our friends at GAP

I just need to work out the best option (i.e. exchange/upgrade via GAP or buy a BT version and sell mine) I think the buy option for a BT version is around £380 so I may be better off doing the exchange with GAP.

Unless someone wants to offer me £225 for mine...! Ash
