Java Black resurrection

I honestly was considering a bonnet respray.
Swirls and light scratches , and slightly "old" looking paint. (9 years)
Seriously regretting buying my first ever black car. Big Cry

Anyway, had a few hours spare today and the sun was out... Bloody cold though

Washed with Farecla body prep shampoo
Rubbed all over with Farecla clay mitt (1st time since reading about in here)
DAS 6 pro DA polisher with Meguiars "ultimate compound"
Fusso Japanese polish

Looks like you did a good job there E4

Many people are scared of the DA polishers but with a bit pf practice a layman (or women) can get surprisingly good results.

Well done my friend.

And Alan - I agree - My Stornoway does look great but it just does not have the zing of a freshly cleaned Black'un.. But I got tired of it looking poo again after only a day or so as they do show the dirt very quickly.

Thumbs Up Ash

Mark I can give you a personal opinion on Fusso soft 99 wax. Its a really good wax. Easy to put on and buff off at our low winter temps. It does not harden quickly hence the easy buffing off at 4c which I did the other day on my wife's car.
However on my slab sided RR it seems to pick up and retain the dirt quicker than expected but the dirt is also easier to hose off or jet wash off. Its a good all round wax for the money and you can use it on your alloys. You probably know this anyway being a Chem guys user. Travelling around in circles again.

Sounds good. That's it ordered should arive tomorrow Mr. Green

Iv always used chemical guys 50/50 wax which to be honest I can't fault but just fancy a change and the fusso is half the price so will be interesting to see how it performs.

Here is the link for it. UK supplier with next day delivery Thumbs Up http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/161583060190?nav=SEARCH Range Rover Vogue 2006 4.4 AJV8 | Buckingham Blue | Parchment Leather | Supercharged Grill+Side Vents | CA02 HEY ( NOT 02 PLATE )
