Warranty

Guys,

Lets say you buy a Rangie with 6 months left on the warranty from a private seller... I know the warranty is transferable, but can you extend the warranty with Land Rover before it runs out...?

Cheers

Or you could go to Kam100 who sponsors the forum who markets a 3rd party warranty. Take a look over on the RRSport forums Finance section as there is a lot of discussion on the offerings and their merits/ disadvantages on there 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

errrrr................................ How much do you want to pay basically! There is everything from bargain basement, covers next to nothing except bare essentials, through to the full monty covers everything you could possibly think of, but at a price! Tesco also sells these policies but the guys who bought it found they got hardly any cover, you have to sit down and read the fine print basically. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Land Rover: £750(ish) for a fourth year and £900(ish) for a fifth year.

And you have to pay diagnostic cost still for plugging the car in before they do anything. That's not covered.

Just buy an old hudgie like I did and throw lots of money at it. In the end you'll still have a RR that works but it will cost a lot less.

Now if this was my everyday car, then that would be a different story, there again I wouldn't have a RR as an everyday car

A Cheaper option and recommended by many is WarrantyWise, I use them in my business. They do pay out on all claims that are not obviously wear and tear or rusting etc.
