Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

A friend of mine had a JCW, and I've also driven a regular Cooper S. The supercharged engines I found a bit of a disappointment. They had plenty of power, just they felt like they had a very heavy flywheel. I hear the later turbo engines are very different, burn far less fuel and are much better, but I haven't driven one.

I have the latest MCS with the 2litre turbo charged motor. It seems very docile until put into Sport mode when it is very quick. Seems much quicker than my previous R56 MCS.

Oh, and I also have a 981 Boxster sitting next to it in the garage

I'ver got a R56 2007 Cooper S JCW. Astro black with red leather. Goes like smoke and scares the living daylights out of me when I press the sport button. Mrs S uses it as the daily driver! I'll dig out a pic - can't find one at the mo.

'Our fleet' consists of 'our' FF 2008 Vogue SE, 'her' 250D SLK (that I'm only allowed to clean!), a 1992 110 Defender had since new and my 1974 Lotus Elan 2 + 2 130/5. Currently vying for a Series 3 short wheel base with canvas tilt and dropping hints about wanting a DB9............

Here is my other motor. Currently undergoing a restoration. Might have it finished this year.
A genuine SWB factory station wagon. There are a lot of none genuine vehicles passing as station wagons that are converted from parts.
Managed to get its original registration plate back as well, rather than the age related plate it is showing in the picture.

This is what it should look like when finished,

Steve. 1968 Series IIA Pastel Green, nearly there project
