Who's had a facelift ?

i've been looking at a 20005 with a 2010 facelift.. What are the insurance implications - does it go up by much, do the insurance companies recognise as a legitimate modification?

Thanks Thumbs Up

England 2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Mariana Black

Hi Johnte...My existing insurer at the time of the conversion (AXA) said that they would only provide cover for the next 30 days and then the policy would be cancelled Shocked

I called Adrian Flux (as they deal with Modified vehicles) and after a 15-20 minute call (long but worthwhile) the fully comp premium for my face-lifted 2007 actually went down to £300 from AXA's £385 with similar excesses.. Razz

I am now insured thru AF with a provider called Trinity Lane..Fully comp Me + SWMBO + 18yrs NCD etc, but you will need to have a remote monitored tracker fitted (Tracker / RAC Trackstar or equiv)for most insurers nowadays.

I believe that there is also a forum sponsor (A-Plan) who can also offer rates. GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus
