Do you have a non motor related hobby?

Am I the only one with a 'nerdy' hobby? Mines radio control model boats. Thinking of getting a 1/16 tank next.

1 metre in length and on the water it's the equivalent of a 5.0 SC.
Come on don't be embarrassed what's your nerdy hobby? Travelling around in circles again.

If it helps - back in the day when I was 20 something I used to race RC cars. Wifey and I used to go every weekend but only I raced!!

I have to say it was great fun and very competitive but probably wasn't the kind of hobby you'd bring up in the pub on a Friday night Embarassed

Now it's farming, horses, motorbikes Thumbs Up

Fountain pens are another thing I seem to buy just for the pleasure of having them. I've got them all laid out in a drawer!
If I'm not careful I'll be buying man bags soon - I Censored hope not. Travelling around in circles again.

Good thread for those who've been wanting to come "out" . . . . Laughing

Mine are:
1/43 scale Range Rover Classic models . . . . particularly IXO
Anything to do with police Range Rovers . . . . I have the first brochure for fleet managers from 1970
R/C cars . . . . currently rebuilding a Tamiya Sand Scorcher - which will bring back memories for many a 40 odd year old

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Flying for me. Usually a Piper PA28, or if I'm feeling flush (or need the hours) a Piper Seneca twin. What with FFRR's and being married that makes 3 really expensive hobbies. Banging Head
