This is a question for those with later starter button equipped cars.

Can you turn off the engine but leave the ignition live?

i occasionally arrive somewhere and just want to listen to the last few minutes of an article on the radio. I don't want to sit with the engine running and I don't want to miss some content by killing the ignition and then wait for the radio to come back on.

So is there away to kill the engine and leave the ignition live?

Hit the starter button then the audio power button and the radio will re-start immediately (not have to go through its start up procedure) loose around ONE second of sound...

Same deal for me. Yet if on the phone the bluetooth stays alive. Bizarre.

So on a similar vein - is turning ON the ignition but not the engine a push of the button but NOT with foot on the brake? Ash

I like keys too , the bluetooth has always stayed on until the car is locked and that has been handy a few times but you get some bloody odd looks in car parks . 2008 MY Supercharged

I wish the BT would shut down with the car......

Umpteen times I've had a call In the house be picked up July the car. Easy to re divert to the phone but annoying. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I've tried a few things like foot on the brake while pressing the button. Nothing in the manual.
