Thanks. maybe a daft question, but why does leaving it unlocked affect the camshaft sensor? 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Loose terminal on the starter motor is the most likely culprit

Fixed, spot on Mikey was a loose connection on the solenoid. 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Good its sorted another one I had on my p38 was the cable from the battery to the started had internal corrosion so giving it a wiggle and it started for a while replaced the cables never had it comer back might be worth a look |
