Scotland 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

5 Months now and have replaced the rear windscreen motor, battery and tyres (Toyo Proxes st). Huge difference between this one and the P38 I had 8 years ago. Very Happy 2017 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

Tim that is so funny but oh so true.

My TD6 failed twice leaving me needing a tow but because it was the dreaded front diff failure, I didn’t get a BONG, so the heart sinking sensation never occurred with the TD6.

But when just 24 hours after driving my new 2007 TDV8 out of the showroom and I started getting all manor of BONG related issues, like failed suspension and so, it actually got to the stage where if I didn’t get a BONG as I turned the ignition key, I really started to worry? 2007 TDV8 Lux

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

2 years ,11 days Thumbs Up

Replaced battery with uprated Varta , new Brembo disks & pads from Steve AF factors .
Had "reduced performance" message once , and "HDC off " a few times , but went away...

Waited for service message , never came in 2 years, so only serviced this week , oil filters , brake fluid and spark plugs.

Love it , would love a 5.0 SC, but £20k to change just not justified at only 5k miles a year.

Can't imagine driving anything but a FF now. Any other brand would be a downgrade Very Happy Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

Three and a half years to date.
Still got a while to go to catch up with my previous Discovery which I kept for nearly sixteen years.

Coming up to 18 months now and still loving it. It clicked over 120,000 miles this morning on the chilly drive to work:

I think I may the winner so far.

I've had mine nine years and eight months.

I bought it in May 2005 just before its third birthday.

It had 38000 miles on the clock when I bought it and has now done 83000 miles.

I worked every scrap of overtime I could for three years to save up for an L322 and was able to buy this one for cash from Caffyns in Lewes near Brighton. It was a once in a lifetime purchase which is why I have kept it for so long. And I still love it just as much now as I did when I bought it.

I owned my TD6 for two and a half years (20k miles) before I sold it for my SC which I've had for 7 months (8k miles) now.

As well as routing servicing the TD6 needed a battery, alternator and a tire and the SC has had three tires following punctures Big Cry 2024 P550e Autobiography

Coming up to three years now, and suffering from "fancy a change now"! Which is good going, really, because I usually get that at around 15 months. Last time I had that, I bought the RR. The time before, I ended up buying a "spare car" because I couldn't bear to part with my Volvo! I'm now trying to fight off the urge to either swap my perfectly good RR for another one, or buy an LR to go with it. I've still got the "spare" car, but I'm never going to get rid of that. I think I need a bigger driveway. Smile

Seven and a half years and 110,000 miles of supercharged enjoyment so far.

Five years for the previous one, six years each for my P38 & Classic before that.

Think I'm going to keep this one for a few more years as I really can't find anything better Thumbs Up
