Not really too concerned about economy, my last 2 cars haven't been exactly fuel efficient....

And my wife runs a Smart Brabus Roadster...50-55 mpg... Laughing

I would recognise those Italics anywhere!
How do Paulo, I had an RX8 for the very first year of launch and was a Committee Member over by.
I think we might have met on an RX8 Scotmeet run maybe?
Strange how we have ended up in the same place again!

Hi Cliff,

Of course I remember you.... Thumbs Up

Hope you are well, must be a sign of getting old that now going for comfort over handling etc... Laughing

Still go to some RX8 meets, even in the Jaguar but somehow I don't think I'd keep up in a RR... Rolling Eyes

Once I get a RR, we should maybe get a meet organised... Cool

Take it easy,

Paul...

What do people think of this one?:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-LAND-ROVER-RANG...4cf1d463a2

It looks pretty clean and has the nice Vogue wheels on it, only thing that worries me slightly is the check coolant level message, is it a common fault on these cars or is he talking rubbish?.

England 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Tonga Green

Hello BiddlyBee - It could be a nice car but I would be suspicious of a couple of things about it, including the low coolant message you/they mention.

Seems reasonably low mileage for this age vehicle - yet the mention of service history is quite vague in the sellers description. (eg - Service History: Yes with some receipts?). Personally I would be quite cautious of any car where the mileage canot be completely backed up with a full documented service history AND THE DASH/ODOMETER HAS DISPLAY ISSUES (Missing Pixels)!?!?!

Also - I don't think the low coolant message is that common a problem on these cars unless there is a problem elsewhere - If it has been showing that message for the past 2 1/2 years? - why hasn't the fault been fixed and what other maintenance problems might have been ignored in that time.

The 20" 7 spoke alloys ARE Vogue SE spec 'officially' - but have been fitted to all other spec Range Rovers over the years.

Dodgy chrome side vents?

Just being cautious Whistle

The low coolant thing certainly is something I'm wary of, there's a few on Autotrader that look interesting, one is a Vogue which is very well priced but the only thing I'm not keen on is that it's silver, there's a blue Vogue from a dealer which is up for a bit more but it hasn't sold for a while so I'm sure there might be a deal to be done there too.Quite looking forward to an L322 it will be a step up from a Classic!.

Am hoping I might have found one in budget, a Vogue too with really decent milage, only thing that lets it down is the wheels but like everyone said they can be changed.
