I do wish ebay sellers would make it more obvious at first blush that they are motor traders, (if indeed the seller is a trader).

If they are traders a mandatory three months warranty comes with the car. If they aren't officially traders it's sold as seen.

Looks nice, but seems on the cheap side if the description and mileage are to be beleived.

I wonder how much they paid for it?

Nice car, though. Thumbs Up

My thoughts too. Seems a bit on the low end of the price spectrum. Might be very genuine or maybe another reason were not being told. I'll perhaps give them a call and see what's what.

Lets hope it is all it is cracked up to be.

It took me 3-4 months and in excess of 1000 miles covered before I found the right car (I get a £1,300 bill later today, though) and some of the cars advertised as "Stunning" or such-like were appalling.

4X4 prices are high at the moment (THE WEATHER!!!) so I should think the car in the ebay link should be treated with at least a modicum of caution.

If you travel to view, good luck all the same. Thumbs Up

Sounds and looks a bargain (If in A1 condition) but simply because of that fact take extra care. Thumbs Up

Have to agree about the 'language' used in some of these ads. I have looked at 4 cars so far - and the 'totally immaculate' is just not true, even taking into account age and mileage. Ask to see the advisory's on the MOT certs as one I looked had referred to a broken gear box cradle - what ever that is?

One car in a dealership did have FSH - up to 2011 when the owner was only doing 2k a year and decided not to have it serviced anymore!

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

That's been for sale for a good few weeks now.

A member on here that lives not far from it says he's seen it a few times being driven very enthusiastically around the place.

I agree. It's all about the perception of being reassuringly expensive,
If the seller listed themselves as motor traders and is was for sale at around £13.500 I'd think it was a nice motor, (Ya see, I just paid £3,500 too much for what still might turn out to be a nail!). Not even a 3 month guarantee with it but you can buy a warranty from the seller... just like you can from a motor trader. Whistle Whistle Whistle
