Clean air mod?

Hi guys, I'm looking at a decat pipe and cleaning the breathing up.

However I'm not too sure what I need to buy,

I've seen a couple of different egr blanks but I'm not sure which is best, is there a generally used free flow filter k&n or piper cross, or itg?

I'm not to suepre which breather is better, I've heard of the vortex one from a bmw?

I've also seen the modified crank case breather for the td6 but I have no idea if this has any benefit and does the tr6 gave a weakness in this area?

Sorry for the noob questions guys but it's worth asking as I need to sort this whilst I have time 😀

Thanks in advance

I have a K & N which is fine. You will get more induction noise with the free flow filters, some have changed back because of it.

The crankcase breather should be upgraded to the vortex one. It never has to be changed then. Bmw upgraded it on its cars but had sold LR by then. The standard unit blocks if not changed and stuffs the turbo. Not good.

You then have the added bonus that the acoustic cover does not have to come off to change the filters on a service, so I pay less for a service...... (Got to let garage do it for my warranty Rolling Eyes )

I thought there was only one type of EGR removal kit...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

The egr kit you link to is in Lithuania. You can get one from one of the Land Rover tuners cheaper than that will end up at.

It seems to have a hole to still let the gasses through, but not seen it in person..... Mine works fine.

The air filter looks like that. The one in your link is a Pipercross one. You can get a K & N or an ITG or there is a green one. Can't see them being that different.

Not sure about the crankcase breather you've linked to. You need a unit from bmw. Land Rover will only supply the old foam unit, as it's all that was fitted to our cars from factory.
