I've traced the air bag pretensioner wiring and found no breaks, I've also cleaned and sprayed and connectors that I've found, I'll replace the air bag module when I install the new android head unit and extras then try to clear the fault again.

I've also sourced a set of front headlight guards which should be here tomorrow and I'll hopefully wire in the spots first thing this morning.

I just need a set of roof rails and roof bars now

I'm finding working on the FF a lot more fun than the 26 odd 110''s, 90's, 109's, 88's, 101fc's and 130's that I've had and built.

Very little needs any extra work to fit, if any!

from memory, you can perhaps pull the airbag ecu connectors, and plug into new (loose) one, to test fault, before removing all console to get to the nuts holding it in. (earth it though)
my method to test if it worked and was not faulty, was to lay face down on front seat when turning ign on first time just in case it all went t!ts up, and fired any airbags!!
crude, but err-ing on survival techniques!

That's really great advice!

I'll be stripping the whole lot down anyway as I may embark on a sound deadening excercise whilst I do the head unit instal 😎
