Problem with the hot water bit is that it would require more plumbing to be done as well Sad

Ideally dont want to pull floor boards and tiles up for it Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Haylands - that sound great. I hate the wait for hot water to come through and then peeps stopping the tap just before the hot arrives GRRRRRRR!!!

If you're going to run the towel rail from the cylinder then surely the energy use would be the same if you simply turned off all other radiators in the house except the rail and let the CH do its job.

We have a room stat to give overall control and TRVs on all other radiators. So, even in summer, you can have a hot toastie towel without adding heat to the rest of the house.
