Causing a stir on local radio here tbh, some places are rough as is a lot of places in uk you would think twice walking round, but in Birmingham areas like handsworth or lozells or a few other places you'd risk a stabbing or mugging being white late at night and that's no lie, I'm about 30 to 40 minutes away and totally different by me,I walk dogs late any hours here but being a brummie by birth and left 40 odd years ago I could never live there now tbh _____________________________________________________

Never mind Birmingham, what was that nonsense about religious police on the streets of London. The Met have enough to do already without ensuring my friends wife hides her ugly face behind a burka Whistle Travelling around in circles again.

Utter rubbish TBH. Yes there are areas where Muslims tend to live just in the same way there are ex-pat areas in Dubai and so on. We all tend to gravitate to what we know and are familiar with. It's only *news* because of the extremist (very small) minority of Muslim Fundamentalists who are completely intolerant of other religions, including I might add a different faction of their own religion

Much the same way that if you have mentioned Ireland in the 60's, 70's or 80's the normal response from the uneducated was to think of the IRA, not the millions of peace loving, warm hearted Irish folk who also happen to live there.

Sensationalist Censored , as one might normally expect from Fox News. Rolling Eyes

One of my closest friends form university lives in Bham, he is middle class white, his entire fmaily is from Brum.So i think they got that one wrong.
Being Asian and Muslim there are parts of BHAM i wouldn't walk in, late at night, colour/religion doesn't come into if you are a thug. You are only after one thing - your "fix" whatever that may be. 2011 5.0SC Santorini Black

If he's gobbing off like that all the time, I wonder what other half-as-bad 'facts' have gone unchallenged.
God bless America!

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

As a Brummy born and bred (but now thankfully living outside that Censored 'ole) I have to say this 'expert' is wrong of course - but watch this space.

I travel back into North Birmingham (Handsworth, Perry Barr) on occasion to see family and I think its the fact that I visit only occasionally and spent the first 25 years of my life there means I get a real appreciation of change.

There is no doubt in my mind that a ghetto mentality has taken over in some parts of the City. Don't know who calls that 'integtation' but it aint. These are places at night where you would not go if you are not part of that community.

Its only going to get worse. Evil or Very Mad and is just one more symptom of a decline in what it means to be indigenous English.

No doubt the do-gooders in society think its wonderful - after all its essentially do-gooders that ruin most things by ensuring the views and actions of everyone should be respected when in fact on many occasions they are simply counter to a cohesive society. Personally I think civil unrest instigated by non-asian people is coming our way and when it does I fear it may be well supported. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up

Like most cities some areas have been taken over in the last 25 years and they are classed as s Censored t holes ,
As long as they keep where they live a s Censored t hole it makes the nicer parts of brum look really good

I've lived round South brum for 40 + years and have found it a good place to live !I just can't believe the change in some parts of North and central brum but as I say most cities have undesirable areas that are best avoided

So really just another tw Censored t speaking boll Censored ox. Imo
