I have been running these on my Autobiography black for a few months, I too lost about 1.5 MPG but they are great off road and the lanes I struggled with the Conti's on before up in the Lakes were a breeze with these AT's on. I ran Goodyear MT/R's on my D3 and 37" MT/R's on my D1 and they are a lot noisier at 70 MPH than the AT's and I think the AT's are as good off road in all but the most extreme mud. What pressure are others running in these? Done about 8k on mine and love them, will be another set of these next time. I got mine fitted for £604.00 which I thought was a bargain compared to the Conti's at £1150.

I need a bigger car...

Initial impressions are very good.

Car feels slightly noisier between 30 - 40 mph, but nothing to worry about. By the time you are at 60 - 70 mph I wasn't noticing any significant extra noise.

Wet weather roads were handled with ease and cut through significant amounts of standing (and water gushing down the road) with out any problems. Car felt very stable (as always).

Fuel consumption - to early to tell - but nothing horrific seen immediately.

Hoping to have a small off road trip on Saturday, so I will let you all know how that goes.

I will measure the initial tread in the morning. I am currently running standard 33psi front and 36psi rears, but may try 1 psi higher as suggested by Vogue earlier.

Initial tread depth is 11-12mm - I have of course this morning lost my depth gauge, but was measured with a steel ruler.

I also meant to comment that the speedo does not appear to have been affected to much either (checked out with GPS speed displayed on TomTom). 2006 FFRR TDV8 Vogue

First offroad outing today. Everything was great. Ground on site was very waterlogged, but at no point was there any indication of getting stuck. Defo less sliding about compared to the old road tyres. Much more confident crossing the ground having a bit more shoulder to protect the alloys and not as concerned about picking up punctures.

Think they will need a bit more pressure in them, someone noticed they looked to be moving about a bit on gentle side slops, so I will try 34 Psi Front 38 Psi Rear.

Sorry, no pictures from today, to busy having fun, but also with a purpose, setting up TYRO & CCV Trials section for the Scottish Land Rover Owners Club event tomorrow at Manor Powis on the outskirts of Stirling.

First post but been reading here since July when I bought my Rr

I have the 275 45 20 Grabber At and think they are great. Not quite the same ride as the Michelin Diamaris obviously but much more befitting of the vehicle. I will say I destroyed one in a pot hole though, since then I've been running more pressure. I've found that 40psi in the front and 42 in the rear gives a good ride without being too form, any less it wallows a bit but is quieter.

These tyres also ride better than the 285 35 22 I had on Overfinch wheels.

Snowed overnight

Can say that winter tyres these ain't !

I know they aren't, but was hoping with the ridges at the bottom of tread and the few sipes they would have been better than they are. With winters on previous vehicles, 2 & 4wd, felt much more sure footed. Especially with a really heavy old lump of a Rr.

In snow, they are very good - due to the tread depth - on ice you would be better with dedicated winter tyres - Vredestein Wintracks or similar.

The GG AT are an AT all round tyre and are Mud and Snow rated. No tyre on snow or especially ice will overcome the laws of physics. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

The snow in question was only a little, so as you say, essentially just ice with the traffic compressing it.

Look forward to a decent depth to give them a proper outing.

In the bit of snow we have had the GG AT's have coped with it fine, I had Vredestein on my Disco 3 before moving over to the MT/Rs and they are a good tyre but as stated in ice with a 3 ton 4x4 no tyre is going to stop you that quick, studded tyres are the best option but I don't think we really need them in the UK at the minute, maybe in ten years time if the global warming thing is to be believed. Most people just need to learn how to drive to the conditions and the problem with modern cars is you feel so disconnected unlike a Series 1 where you can feel the speed and road surface you are traveling on.
