would appreciate your thoughts on fluid changes generally
my MY11 is only 4 yrs old now.............

I would look at changing it all asap sir... I advise my customers to do them every 30K and have some now covered over 300k without issue... Not many make it past either 150k or 10yrs without major issues when they are not changed regularly...

Years ago people wouldn't buy a car with over 100k but now no one seems to care as they are built better

Not many cars 30yeaes ago cojld make it to 100k so it shows how far we are coming in reliability but then more diesels on the road in cars help this a bit Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

It's not just diesels Will, my mother in law just got rid of her 1998/9 Audi a4 1.6 petrol, with 195,000 on the clock. Mechanically it was ok, just wasn't cosmetically good, at all...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

There aren't many petrols that make it that high Sad

I sold a diesel the other year with 272k on it and when i last checked it had been re-mot'd with something like 286 on it and i know of others over 300k that just get 6k oil changes and bits when they need them.. Its a far whack of miles for cars from 98-02 really! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I reached 100k just before Christmas, and am averaging 16k per year - still some way to go however, have taken 2 defenders to 250k plus, the last one was on 126k when I wrote it off on black ice. Big Cry 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)
