They are Land Rover original ones that often come up for sale. Not sure if they are often standard fits to some discos.

Style 11 or 15 or something like that Smile

Craig I bet will know the exact ones! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Style 15. The Discovery wheel in a similar style (Style 2) is 18".

I thought about 19 inch rims but I was told that they would not fit over the large brake callipers on the Westminster.
Anyone got any experience of fitting 19 inch wheels to this model?
If you do what rims did you use?
Thanks

Why not buy a set of quality 20" Winter tyres and just fit them for the winter/trips its only £60 at most tyre shops?

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

I go to the Alps once a year on regular Pirelli Scorpion 255/50 R20s. I have one pair of snow socks in the boot which I put on the fronts in two ticks at the 'aire de chainage' i.e. the place to put chains on. This is easy and I'm out in a few minutes with a big smile from the local gendarme. No traction problems and easy to take off later. I've had the same pair of socks now for three years and they only cost about £75. Legal and cheap. Result Thumbs Up Ideally I would put two pairs on but it's for such a short trip I don't bother. 2012 5.0L S/C

That's extra faff and time spent getting the wheels balanced each time.

Is the £60 for the tyre swap or for the Tyres?

Two swaps a year is well on the way to another set of rims and rims at say £300-500 aren't going to lose a massive amount not value long term. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I am still considering RUD snow chains.

I do find 1:36 in the following video interesting (they may not actually be in that truck and be for representational purposes only):

1:26 in this one

I am not saying this is the proper thing to do, but it is what I am considering.

My guess is that people do not put traditional chains on correctly or check them like they should and damage their vehicles. The "approved" sets appear to reduce possible installation errors. Again, this is just my guess.

Hmm, I don't have socks or chains. Not many of my friends do either. Maybe it's a French/Austrian thing.

£60 in November and £60 in March including balancing is not really a lot for a Range Rover owner to be perfectly safe in both Winter & Summer conditions. Treat it as part of the annual servicing cost. 6 Monthly/Annual balancing is a good idea anyway.

Most people just have a spare set of wheels though Gaz as its a lot easier to swap wheels than to swap Tyres, although that's my opinion as well but I'm sure a few others on here would agree Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Errrm yes Will I am aware of that..... Rolling Eyes

However changing tyres on existing rims is another option.

If you paying to get your spare winter set swapped with existing summer set at local tyre fitter then its not a lot more cash to get only the tyres swapped on existing rims with added advantage of regular balancing.

Pointing out the option that's all. Thumbs Up

Whether you get winter tyres by getting another set of wheels or just change the tyres, it doesn't help when the legal requirement is for chains. Rolling Eyes

The snow sock idea seems a good one as I've never needed chains.

Very true I suppose but I'd hope most would get winter tyres as aren't they a legal requirement in some countries?

Anyway snow socks rule for ease of use and not freezing bare hands when you forget your gloves 😄😄 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
