The one I currently look after needs two more things doing to it and then it will be up for sale, space is getting a bit precious for cars at the minute!

Good Luck with it Thumbs Up

I'd look forward to hearing what becomes of it. Obviously, it needs work. However, at that price, one can afford a good few bills before getting worried. A serious off-roader maybe? You won't have to scream, "I have mud on my £50000 Range Rover," with this one. Mr. Green

To get offroad able for me it would need to lose some serious wieght Sad

I've been through all the possibles for off-roading with an FF in the other one and it doesn't make sense without spending approx £4k.

Then your left with a vehicle weighing over 2900kgs's that's just about able to get through most greenlane gates.

Yes your in a lot of comfort with heated seats and lovely aircon and dsc to help you around as well as very good ground clearance.

Don't get me wrong, if I won the euro millions I'd be buying a cheap 5.0 SC for offroad abuse as I could then afford to lighten it up to where I would want it but proper carbon fibre bespoke bits aren't cheap 😄😄 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Portugal

How i envy you guys Smile. It would be a Dream to have one of those here in Portugal at that price. I would take it without blinking.... The cheapest we can find around here for a 2002/2003/2004 TD6 is around 20 000 Euros. Highly overrated.... Sad.. And that wouldn't save me from sorting other issues like gearbox, tc etc after purchase.....

But i will have my TD6 Smile.....until then....P38 it is...

Hi Nuno, yes 30% sales taxes on "luxuries" like a car is ridiculous, then what about 200% fees on motorway for 4x4, including SUV... I do not know how you do it.

I was again in Lisbon recently and got to enjoy the wonderful tracks Portugal has to offer. once you are on them, you quicklyforget about these crazy taxes... Thumbs Up l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Portugal

hehe so you know how we suffer Smile

In the P38 (as it has the air suspension), i had to do an inspection at the motorway gate (Passed with the car locked in Access Mode) and they issued me a card that allows me to pay only as a regular car. But most of the other 4x4s don't have that luxury and go as "Class 2" instead of "Class 1" vehicles that pay less. Here a car to qualify for "Class 1" has to be less than 1.1m height at the front Axle......Go figure......Its merely stupid....you can have to exact same vehicles but if one has a air intake on the hood the rises the overall height for example, it pays class2.
