5.0 V8 Supercharged Autobiography (SS)

There appears to be a new derivative on the way in addition to the standard V8SC with the suffix (SS). Don't have any info for now apart from a name. Same engine as in the RRS SVR perhaps?

Available in Autobiography and Autobiography Black only.

Yes, SVR engine apparently. Are photos of one with four exhaust pipes.

No one (Jaguar, Daimler-Benz) has used this suffix since WW2 for obvious reasons! 510BHP enough for me in the proper non-Sport Range Rover. I don't see any reason for me to "upgrade" to have 40BHP more. So what?

Jaguar was even called the Swallow Sidecar Company but changed it after the war for that reason. Shocked

Not sure of the point in it, obviously in the middle east more is better, but really what is the need for a 550hp Range Rover? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I'm sure I heard that it was to be a 4.5 I may have misheard, seems a lot to change to gain 40bhp. Rolling Eyes

More likely the 5.0SC from the current Sport SVR which turns out 550BHP. I can't see them developing an entirely new engine for the same power as the existing SVR engine.

Interesting picture, nice looking exhausts (At LAST!) on a Range Rover and also you can see what looks like a roll cage inside.

Plus it's a left hooker, and I can't figure out why they bother putting the camo tape on, surely that just attracts attention these days, they could have run it discretely as a normal one!

Indeed. They could pass it off as one somebody had just modified! I think they want people to start talking about it as I cant imagine the tailgate will be any different...

I hope they integrate those exhausts into the body a little better. They look too much like someone has added after market tips to a standard car to me.
