Yeah we were told certain parts of France can still pick up the signal but Southern Spain was knocked out due to the signal being focused more on the UK

The mobile dish I have picked up sky fine in Le Mans last year, but much further south you would start to struggle with a standard dish, there was a 4' dish in the villa we rented in the summer and it got sky fine in the south though. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Where in the South coz we can't get it

I'm well south of Le Mans (170 miles in a straight line) and get all channels with a 60cm dish. I have both Sky (SD on the tv in the bedroom) and Humax HD in the sitting room.

I only use the free channels with a card in the Sky Digibox for Ch 4 etc. John

We needed to upgrade to a 1m dish this year - 60 miles south of Bordeaux - about 100 north of the Spanish border.

The 60cm one worked some of the time, but seemed temperamental to weather conditions.

I use a FreeSat recorder.
