I have 2002 v8 petrol but I run on lpg I was recommended iridium ngk single tipped plugs by the local lpg fitter service garage, I fitted them, the old ones were the four tipped type from Bosch. The four tippd ones I may have chucked out. But I remember they can be expensive.
I was given a tip, as you remove plugs, you may notice a small amount of oil from leaking rocker gaskets. the old leaking rocker gaskets that I had replaced a couple of years ago, had been leaking, and some had dribbled into the plug tubes leading down to the threads, be very careful and turn the plugs in with just a socket and 6 inch extension, with your fingers, thus no chance of cross threading. You need really the typical 14mm spark plug socket on a 3/8 extension. This holds a plug straight and solid. I made a small bung on wire to clean plug bores one at a time. . So a little puff of smoke on first start up. Oil as all over plugs as I pulled them. Job done. My 8 iridium plugs were £55 ish -took about 40mins.
