I'm looking to buy a 3L 405 in a few months, probably one which is a year or so old. My reasoning is that after a year most of the howlers will be put right. Maybe.
The big fault which seems to be reported by many people is the knocking noise from the front wheels. Can I assume that this has now been cured, and LR have redisigned the offending part? It seems that way from the thread.
Also, are there any other common faults I should be looking out for? I accept that there will always be 'one off' issues, but those which occur regularly are harder to spot in the threads.
TIA
