Hi gang

Any chance one can modify the background screen upon start up or anything else on the binnacle TFT screen please?

I own a IID Tool BT should this help

On the DVD based nav systems (which I'm guessing yours is not) the image is loaded from one of the files on the disc. The format of which is described here:

Don't know how the hard-drive based ones store their data though.

Right. tgis is the hard drive nav system but I am talking about the binnacle tft not the nav one.

Maybe the Gap Guys can advise whence they return from Hols. Would also be interested to know if you can choose a different background for the TFT  SDV8 AB MY 2019
