Rear door locks failed...

My both rear door central locking motors have today stopped working on my new car... Not come across this before so without looking myself! Has anyone any experience of this please...?

Had one fail on the disco last year. So it does happen occasionally. But for both to fail at the same time sounds a bit odd😳, would bench test them to prove the failure before ordering new ones, would it not make more sense that it was an electrical failure somewhere rather than 2 failed motors There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Craig,

I think there is one control module for each front door and a separate one for the rear doors and fuel flap, so check the fuel flap and if that's not working then Roberts your Mothers Brother, it will be that one!!! Pete

Thanks Alan, not been cold here sir & she's kept indoors in a heated workshop/garage... I suspect something simple like a fuse Thumbs Up

I had one of the rear door controllers fail, i could prove it by switching the passenger and driver side. Doesn't help you though as both have failed. Think it was about 80 quid.

There is a fuse for each door if i remember correctly.

Both my rear door lock mechanisms failed within 6 months of each other. Warranty paid for each fix on mine.

Could open with the handle from inside, but would not operate electrically, via fob or dash button.... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
