Only seen snow so far this year on Bleaklow (the hills above Glossop) a couple of weeks ago (13/12/14).
A few of the pics taken on my fell run.

Looking back towards Glossop and Snake Pass to the left. Snow just on the tops.

Running on to Higher Shelfstones (where the Superfortress air wreckage is) there was 4" to 5" of snow. You don't see it here as Higher Shelf is that ridge to the top right of the photo.

Was up again last Sat (20/12/14) and the snow had all melted leaving some deep streams of freezing cold water and peat bogs to run through. Shocked Good fun.

just looked at the forecast, and we may actually get a bit of snow today, well overnight anyhow. dropping down to near freezing and what was heavy rain on yesterdays forecast is now heavy snow here, and it shows it persisting for several hours....

might actually get an inch or two in that case...... Rolling Eyes will be very supprised if there is any more than that! We do have to drive to stoke tomorrow though and i bet any money that there will be more there than there is here! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

No snow here Sad

But it is 28 degrees and sunny here in the Dominican Republic Mr. Green

But the forecast says we're coming back to some snow in the New Year so perhaps go playing in the Fattie then.

disco is always equipped to recover folks from snow and water (big tow rope and wellies) so some fun might be had over the next few days and weeks if the snow persists..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
