This happens in the bird world too. Albino Blackbirds which are black and white or totally white are shunned and bullied.
We had a black/white one in our garden for a while. Had me scratching my head and reaching for the bird watching books to confirm what I had seen.

i've seen bullying of whites amongst our highland cattle. Hence, as our small fold is built up from a single black female that I bred myself, we no longer use any white bulls. It's just not worth the hassle!

Mind you, we now have a black heifer who gets bullied by her sister but if we take her sister away she bullies everyone else - ruddy animals
