[sold] 2005 Range Rover Suprcharged - Black **reduced**

ad approved by stan

Here we have for sale my parents 2005 ‘55’ Range Rover Vogue 4.2 V8 Supercharged.

It’s an ideal spec with it being the smaller road tax band and being a full black on black exterior/interior colour with black piano trim.

They have owned the car since the start of 2010 after my dad promising to own a Range Rover for over 20 years! They have loved the ownership but unfortunately they hardly use it and its only use was weekends away up to the Highlands. So with me shortly upgrading to a TDV8 which they can use we decided it would be best to sell on.

The car has a mileage of 93K and this is backed up by FSH by Range Rover Main dealer at the start and Whites of Edinburgh – independent specialist. Andy the owner is very highly sought after in Edinburgh for the RR work. He was an ex Pentland Land Rover tech, then set up on his own. You have to book 2 weeks in advance to get anything done so while he isn’t a Dealer - he is very very good. I had a Porsche 911 Turbo and used a specialist and not a dealer and I think people now more than accept this. Anyway its serviced every time she goes in for an MOT.

The car is HPI clear with only 2 previous owners and has 10 months mot.

Rough Spec is as follows:
Touch Screen Sat Nav – all working
Land Rover Factory TV’s in front Headrests with DVD player
Electric Heated memory front seats
Heated rear seats
Electric glass sunroof
Dual Climate Control
20” Alloy wheels – no cracks and recent tyres
Front and Rear parking sensors with reverse camera – all working
Cruise Control
Electric, heated multi function tilt and height steering wheel
Brembo brakes – recent brakes too from top of my memory.

Extra from new were side steps – which unfortunately have little cracks at rear – see photo and front and rear mudflaps. It also has heavy duty rubber carpet mats front and rear.

Interior and exterior is generally very good for its age.

The leather interior is all good with no wear, stains or rips.
All the electrics work.

Paint wise the car is good, few scratches down the sides which with it being black are highlighted. The car was regularly polished and it shows. It has a little parking dent on the rear upper tailgate too. See pictures. There is also a little paint removed from scuffed feet by the drivers sill. Unfortunately its only real draw back is the passenger wing mirror which was hit, a replacement mirror was fitted and we just filled the small crack with tiger seal.

Mechanically thanks to Andy everything is good here, from top of my memory she once had the supercharger intercooler replaced, usual tyres, brakes, few brake pipes, both fuel pumps have been replaced recently along with parking sensors. 2 new front tyres just fitted and the rears were new recently too.

Please see pictures attached and if anymore are required or questions please let me know.

Price to sell at £13995.00 - £12995 on eBay - £12500 to forums members

Numberplate not included in the sale.

United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

GLWTS:

Lovely machine and a great investment for someone looking to get into a R, especially as its a 4.2SC!

Regarding its niggles, for the next owner these are not big beer.

Side step trim can be replaced or steps removed
Wing mirror could be replaced or less expensive band-aid fix is to fit mirror covers over the top from Powerful UK.

Yeah I know what you mean guys, if it was my own car I'd probably do the same. But its not, you know what parents are like and I suppose you can say its an honest car?

Also forgot - brand new battery fitted 2 weeks ago.

Many thanks
Michael

At £13,995 is this age mileage and spec of car, currently priced to reflect the honest imperfections that you highlight (this is a serious question by the way)?

Serious question? Really?
Well why else would I openly discuss the faults along with pictures of the faults and then put a price up? I've checked prices and I do think it is a fair price as there not exactly loads on the market with this spec?

Price, like all used cars sold privately is negotiable to a serious party?

I will price the fixes required and have a chat with the parents.

Yes, it was a serious question (not/ was not knocking your ad and am now directly replying to an open forum question you have put to me).

All the best Thumbs Up
