The FF I wish I had not sold

14 months ago I sold this VSE to get a volvo and then another volvo and back to a FF again. Just thought I would share my sorrow of selling this and wondered does anyone else regret selling a FF.

Haven't sold one yet, but I bet there are just as many who have regretted buying one.....

I think that's one of the things that make us love them so much..... they need constant care and attention.... Pete

I'm afraid I can join that club also here is a heap of crap I bought in 2006 the worst car I have ever owned, It came from a main dealer and it was shockingly bad and it cost £30k back then.

I regretted selling my TD6, then bought 2 as I realized the pleasure outweighed the pain of ownership

Not a FF but I do regret selling the Land Cruiser, was a brilliant tow motor and load lugger, not saying the FF isn't, its was just better than the discovery! sold the wrong one imo! If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Suppose the key question is, why did OP (& others) sell their respective pride and joy, before donning rose tinted specs and wondering if they should have hung on (sell it before loads of things start going on it, sell it whilst I can still get something decent for it, sell it as it's been a bag of trouble)?

To that PLD118 is that and your not wrong 1, I got the go ahead to get a FF, 2 my cruiser as much as it was a great motor the bonnet started to rust again after my repair 3 years previous and the tail gate started to go under the window seal, Censored of a job to do too.
I nearly went to see a FF forums RR but I had been offered a new job and really had to wait, moving house is not cheap these days...........got one now though that all that matters to me, upgrade only time will tell Mr. Green If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Yes me too. Bought a 2003 4.4 in 2007 with 30k miles and had it for 5 years and 99k miles Very Happy . One set of discs, hedgehog relay, some engine hoses ahhhhhhhhh, that's about it in addition to full Main Dealer servicing. Fantastic car if it was not for the fuel costs and the need for a bit more travelling I would have kept it, lovely interior and exterior was pristine.
Still getting used to my 2008 model, really think the seat base is a problem and need to change cushion.
