Iphone 6 + AUX & Charging Cable

Hi Guys,

When I bought my RR I was recommended a charging lead & AUX cable so I could play the music in the RR via the iPhone 4s, I have upgraded to the new 6+ & i want the same thing, the cable is all connected together not 2 separate devices

Anyone gone down this route as I have searched the net & come up blank, any ideas much appreciated

Cheers Thumbs Up Mutt

no they don't do that cable for a 6 yet, but you can buy an adaptor for the end of your old cable to convert it to the new iPhone connection Thumbs Up

one of these......

Hi Kurt,

Thank you very kind of you to say Very Happy I will try one of those as the Apple store wants £25 quid, so if it works for a £6 quid then its a no brainer!!!

Cheers chaps Mutt

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

All the new Lightning connector iPods only output a digital audio signal.

Older style iPods with the larger connector used to output an analogue signal

The Apple connector for £25 contains a DAC with converts the digital signal into analogue for use with an older style Apple connector

The £6 version may work to enable charging or data exchange, but I doubt it will work if you a plugging into an older style cable to play audio

Although at £6 may be worth a punt Thumbs Up 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

^^ hence why there are no cheap aux/charger cables about, apple adaptor works fine, but you can get that annoying bong questioning compatability....... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
