It is a pity BBs are dying out as they are much cheaper to run for travelling people than any of the others and not by a small margin either. The BB server was a brilliant move.

However in user friendliness, compared to Android (can't judge for iPhone but am sure it will be similar) they are crap. The (Samsung) Android environment is just way easier to move around in.

Initially BB had a much higher level of ecnryption and security (hence the ban on them in certain countries) that they are virtually uncrackable. However Samsung, Apple and Google stepped up to the plate (probably with NSA backdoors in the software) and now security and encryption are pretty much up to the BB level.

I hate to see them go under because of the cost and security benefits but they were just not up to competing in the changing market, I guess to secure and not feeling the boiling water in time. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I am going to keep Blackberry in business. Will report back when it arrives and its up and running. I have already installed the very clever Windows Desktop "Blackberry Blend" software new with OS10.3+ that allows you to view all messages, function, apps and screens live on your desktop so you can keep on working without even having to take you phone out of its case...

I also have a Blackberry Z10 and will either upgrade to the "coming soon Z50" next year or get the passport. any version of the OS10 software can run android apps by downloading SNAP the new OS10 version 10.3 that you will get on your BB Passport gary will allow you to run Android apps via the Amazon store, which i believe is pre loaded.
Like the RR we are are leaders, our tools may still in in unofficial BETA phase but they are in a class of their own. 2011 5.0SC Santorini Black
