United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Autobiography 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue

My first experience of a RR Classic was when a guy I didn't know gave me the keys to his new Y plate 5 door with a trailer on and asked me to move it for him!(I was 15!) from then I always wanted one.

I bought a very late Softdash 3.9 Vogue SE @ 10 years ago and I have just retired her to the car collection to restore. She's still in good shape but needs some well earned TLC, bought her with 88k and now has @ 170k on the clock.

Love the car dearly, still has full air suspension and in all those miles I have replaced the air bags, 2 height sensors and the compressor

Yesterday I put a deposit on a Buckingham Blue 58 plate Supercharged Autobiography, I must be mad, pictures to follow........

Here's a photo of when I got my Range Rover stuck pulling a trailer, bear in mind this was in August (a very wet summer I seem to remember!)

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

England 2002 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Giverny Green

I've had three classics in my 25 years of continuous Range Rover ownership.

First one was a very early 1971 three door - XAR287J. Tuscan blue with beige vinyl seats and rubber "carpets" that I had from 1989 to 1994. Probably worth a bob or two nowadays.

Second one was a white 1984 three door with brown cloth seats and brown carpets. It was an import from Dubai with genuine desert sand in the sills. At some stage in its life it picked up a Q plate - Q83GHG. It was converted to right hand drive and had a short stick 5 speed manual gearbox which I do not believe was original. I had this from 1994 to 1999.

Third one was a 1993 Vogue SE 3.9, Ardennes green with light brown interior. Registration was K306XNM and I had it from 1999 to 2005 when I replaced it with my FF which I have had ever since.

I loved them all but not as much as I love my FF.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

Had two classics, an 89 VSE and a 93 EFi. both great to own but I have to say I got frustrated at the comfort levels heavy steering and (sounds silly..) the draughts.

Back to a 322 is like breath of fresh air (and not between the door seal and body!!)

Doubt I'll ever dabble back again. PS the TT in the back ground IS NOT MINE!!!!

405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus
93 RR Classic efi

Remember it's easier to get forgiveness than permission!

Gone in order:
4.4 TDV8 SE - gone to a good home
93 Classic hard dash Plymouth Blue
03 L322 Oslo Blue
2000 Disco TD5 ES Epsom Green
98 P38 Rioja Red
89 Classic Cairngorm Brown

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver

I bought this earlier in the year - my first RR, a 1993 LSE

It looks better in the pic than in real life, but it's getting there slowly.

Previously I "collected" Discos (have had 5). The D3 is being p/x'ed for the Vogue on Saturday. The D1 was sold to buy the LSE. Still have the Ambulance (prototype LWB Disco)

Also had a couple of Series 2As.

Great to see classic Range Rovers in such a nice condition. They still look very classy. Very "old money". Thumbs Up
