Not as shocking as I though it would - I guess it is a "got to see it in the flesh" thing.

Anyone else with the front grill's black surround and grey headlights, say in Ipanema or Zara by any chance?

The grey headlight surrounds are fairly dark and as such it's not a massive contrast - they're significantly darker than the 2006 - 2009 headlights I believe  Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

All AB Black 2011 cars have grey lights with a black grill surround

Right Craig.

However since they are all black it is less contrasting. It may look very odd on a white or light coulor L322.

For perfection yes but who's going to notice. At the front the Black Grille surround needs the Black Lights. (full stop)

Got a 5.0 coming in soon and I am going to add a black grille surround and then swap out the headlights for black. Will take before and after pics. End result a factory 2012 5.0 look
